I am no longer in-network with your insurance provider. My current status as an out-of-network provider will mean that I’ll need to collect payment at the time of service. Any reimbursement would be sent directly to you from your insurer after submitting a detailed invoice (which I will provide).
You are able to use HSA funds or flex spending money in order to pay for sessions. My standard fee is $200 for an intake and $150. for a 50-minute session and $180. for a 60-minute session. (My fees will increase at the end of 2019.)
For reimbursement rates, a call to the plan administrator should be completed prior to your first session.

Because I believe that tending to one’s mental health is part of a holistic plan of self-care followed throughout a person’s lifetime, I encourage clients to seek services before a medically-based and diagnosable mental health problem exists. Coverage of mental health services by most health insurance plans is limited to the treatment of medically-based mental health issues with an associated mental health diagnosis. For work not associated with of this type of diagnosis, I offer a reduced-fee for payment directly by the client, or through a non-medical plan, such as an employee assistance program. The cost of reduced-fee services is based upon your household income. In addition, services are available at an hourly group rate of $150.00 for groups of 5 or less. More information is available upon request. Payment Cash, check, HSA, credit, and debit cards are accepted prior to, or at the time of your session. For credit and debit cards, use the “pay now” button under the “Make A Payment” tab on this site.
Cancellation Policy
24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows others the opportunity to make use of the scheduled time. If you miss your scheduled appointment and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a $60. cancellation fee before or at the time of your next appointment. I am unable to bill your insurance for this fee. If you are being seen through Medical Assistance, you will not incur a fee; but because the 24 hour notice is still important and required, your case will be closed after 3 unexcused absences.
