Psychotherapy is not one-size-fits-all.
The beauty of being human is that each of us is unique. Each of us has a different set of strengths, skills, and talents and we each have different challenges. You might think therapy has a singular approach to address your diverse set of needs. But it’s not that simple.
I’m a therapist who works a little differently.
Although my foundation is built on strong science and traditional medicine, my life experience has led me down alternative and holistic paths toward healing. My personal background has taught me one important lesson: keep an open mind. As such, I’ll never come into an appointment with a preconceived notion of what you need.
Who I work with:
Individuals, couples, and families who are dealing with sexual abuse, brain trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting, holistic health, or spiritual/growth-related work.
A well-rounded approach to healing.
I know it can seem challenging to find a course of action that works for you. You may have worked with therapists in the past, only to be left feeling dissatisfied with your experience or frustrated the therapy didn’t work.
Working with a therapist well-versed in both conventional and holistic approaches gives you options: I understand that your needs are specific to you, and no one else. Together, we navigate your challenges using mainstream, alternative, or a combination of healing methods. Ultimately, we do what works for you.
Can I help empower you?
I’ll let you in on a secret: You have the power to change your life. My job is to support you in the process. Through our sessions, we focus on what is possible by eliminating fear, limiting beliefs, and destructive patterns. The result? You realize the power within yourself to affect your reality, your future, and your life.
The next step.
I know that choosing a therapist is a big decision. (You’re letting me into your life, after all.) I want you to be sure you’re making the right choice: please explore my website in more detail for more information about the services I provide to individuals, couples, and children. Don’t hesitate to give me a call at (612) 961-2199 if you have any questions. I look forward to working with you.
